The Michael Scotto Memorial Foundation is a Non-for-Profit organization that is comprised completely of volunteer members. Originally the Foundation was structured to support a scholarship program with Farmingdale High School where Michael was a student. Every year a well deserving student is chosen to receive an award of $5,000.00 to be put towards furthering their education.
Through the years, the Foundation has grown and changed in many ways. The scholarship program was just the beginning of the generosity and compassion to be shown by the Foundation. We have and will continue to donate money to various charities such as March of Dimes, The Smile Train & Angela's House to name a few. We also try to bring our help to families within our communities who have fallen victim to some unfortunate circumstances. The Foundation was formed to honor and commemorate the memory of Michael. He was a very kind, generous young man, who believed strongly in helping those less fortunate then himself. It is through his memory that the Foundation sets its goal to do the same.
